Anti-Adductus Orthosis
Designed for babies and young toddlers, the Anti-Adductus Orthosis can prevent metatarsus adductus by realigning the foot. Supplied in five different sizes, these should be applied by a medical professional, however the easy design makes treatment a far easier process.
What Are the Anti-Adductus Orthosis For?
The Anti-Addictus Orthosis is designed to realign the foot in cases of metatarsus adductus. The common foot deformity is characterised by the front half of the foot curving inwards. The orthosis prevents that from occurring by keeping the foot in a straight angle through the use of a hinge, meaning that it is suitable to be used as soon as symptoms start to make themselves known.
Who Should Fit the Anti-Adductus Orthosis?
While the Anti-Adductus Orthosis is incredibly easy to fit, it should only be done so under the supervision of a trained medical professional. This can be a GP or specialist, and once they should be worn for a number of weeks.
