Who Can Use the Ossur Form Fit Non-Slip Night Splint?
This foot splint is designed to help relieve the pain associated with plantar fasciitis by providing a gentle overnight stretch. It is also extremely beneficial for Achilles tendinopathy, keeping the ankle in a neutral position while you rest. The splint holds the foot with the toes pointed up for a gentle, constant stretch of the plantar fascia.
What Is Plantar Fasciitis?
Plantar fasciitis refers to pain on the bottom of your foot, around the heel and arch. It is likely to be plantar fasciitis if the pain worsens when you walk after sleeping or resting, if it feels better during exercise, or if you struggle to raise your toes off the floor.

This Ossur night splint is designed to enhance comfort, designed with a soft, breathable liner and padded straps which cushion and keep the foot cool. They are also contoured to enable a good fit.
Is the Ossur Form Fit Plantar Fasciitis Splint Adjustable?
The Form Fit Non-Slip Foot Splint features straps which are adjustable from 0 to 10 degrees of dorsiflexion. This allows you to find a customised position that suits you.
How Do I Apply the Form Fit Non-Slip Night Splint?
The device should be applied while seated. Please see the steps below to discover how best to apply the splint. An athletic sock may also be worn on the foot for additional comfort.
- Open all three buckles (Fig. 1).
- Place the foot inside the soft liner, ensuring that the heel is all the way to the back of the device and the toes not extending past the end. The ankle should be at 90º when the device is properly positioned.
- Fasten the buckles, ankle (Fig. 2), foot (Fig. 3) and calf strap (Fig. 4) in this order. If necessary, adjust the buckles to ensure a comfortable and secure fit (Fig. 5).
- Release the hook and loop straps on either side of the device (Fig. 6). Pull up the straps to increase plantar fascia stretch and lower the straps to decrease stretch.
How Do I Remove This Ossur Device?
Simply loosen the hook and loop straps and open all three buckles to remove the device from the foot.
Cleaning Instructions
Hand wash using mild detergent, rinse thoroughly and air dry. Do not machine ash, tumble dry, iron, bleach or wash with fabric softener. Avoid contact with salt water or chlorinated water.
